Soheil Tavakoli | |
Sohei Tavakoli is an architect and an artist from Tehran. In 2004, after his last exhibition in Tehran, he moved to the United States where he continued to create his artworks. In 2009, after the protests against the election results, Tavakoli participated in many demonstrations that occurred in the United States demanding freedom and democracy in Iran. He created street and wall paintings illustrating some specific events in Iran. He also created many digital paintings and video clips, called ‘The Green Movement Digital Paintings,’ which soon spread on the Internet.
