Mohamad Reza Aali-Payam (born 10 June 1957, Tehran), with the pseudonym Haloo, is an Iranian poet, actor, producer and director. He is also a blogger, a member of Screenwriters Association of Iran’s Cinema and the director of the Dayerey-e-Mina commercial agency. His book, Efazat-e-Haloo, consists of political and humorous poems. Aali-Payam was arrested in 18 August 2012 charged with anti-government propaganda and disturbing the public opinion. He was tried and sent to political prisoners’ ward of Evin prison.
