Ahmadinejad’s Endorsement by Khamenei as the President

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, formally endorsed Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for a second term as president in an official ceremony held to set the stage for the upcoming inauguration on the 5th of August. Mir Hossein Mousavi, Mahdi Karroubi, Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and Mohammad Khatami boycotted the ceremony.
